I was so fortunate to have many family around for Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful gathering at Betty & Doug's house where we shared good conversation and good food. Maggie, Marc, Michele, Bob, Carol, Ken, Erica, Doug, Dylan, Michelle, Jeff, Betty and Doug all gathered with me to celebrate the day. It was a traditional turkey meal, and I was able to help make the oyster dressing - a favorite of mine!
It was hard to say farewell to the Ken Marcoux family, but they will be back, I am told. I am feeling well, keeping active at my residence, and looking forward to the Christmas season here. Already Aegis is decorated with lots of full size "drummer boys" and many beautiful seasonal ornaments around my place. Betty & Doug are coming over this weekend to set up a small tree in my apartment although I find that I spend most of my time in the living room downstairs with everyone else.
Glad to see so many of the family together for Thanksgiving with you. I also spent the day with my sister/husband and their kids and families -- was lovely. We had dinner at Wilderness Lodge in Magic Kingdom. I'm moving again at the end of the month -- to a house that will accommodate Gloria, me and our 7 animals.
